Since 2015, NRDC, Friends of the Earth, Consumers Union, Food Animal Concerns Trust, and Center for Food Safety - together representing millions of consumers - annually review and rate the top 25 fast-food and fast-casual restaurant chains in the United States on their antibiotics use policies and practices. In 2018, we released our first analysis of antibiotic use policies at the top 25 U.S. burger chains.

We also look at overall transparency in regards to antibiotics used in meat and poultry supply chains. The results are published in a report called Chain Reaction, available below, which has received widespread media attention.
